Azoland Pictures announced on Wednesday that it will screen the "Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours 2nd LoveLive! HAPPY PARTY TRAIN TOUR" concert in theaters across the United States on October 14. The one-day event will screen the concert of Love Live! Sunshine!!'s Aqours group that is scheduled for September 30 at the MetLife Dome in Saitama prefecture.

Theater listings and tickets are now available on Azoland Pictures' website. Some theaters will also sell merchandise. Azoland Pictures will reveal more information at a later date. The event will feature a "cheering style screening" where attendees can bring light sticks and cheer on Aqours members during the screening.

Several U.S. theaters also screened the "Aqours First LoveLive! ~Step! ZERO to ONE~" concert on March 4 and 5. The screened event was for the first major concert for the nine-girl Aqours group, which took place on February 25 and 26 at the Yokohama Arena.

The first season of the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered in July 2016. Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan. The second season will premiere on October 7.

The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." Fans chose the group's name Aqours by popular vote.
