Nintendo announced a new game titled Kirby: Battle Royale for its Kirby franchise on Wednesday. The Nintendo 3DS game will debut on January 19. Nintendo is streaming a trailer that previews gameplay and the game's various four-player multiplayer modes.

Nintendo previously teased an untitled Kirby game in April alongside Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and Kirby's Blowout Blast, which shipped for the 3DS in April and July, respectively.

Nintendo also has a new Kirby game for the Nintendo Switch in development for a 2018 release.
