Writer Gary Whitta (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars Rebel) and artist Michael Walsh (Star Wars Annual, Hawkeye, The Vision) are adapting the latest installment of the Star Wars film series to comics. This series, much like the hit movie, will follow the adventures of Rey, Poe, and Finn – but it’ll also include never-before-seen moments from the story.

The adaptation will come in the form of a six-issue miniseries that’s aimed at fans of both the movies and comics, allowing them to relive the tale they recently experienced in theaters when it opened in December 2017.

The Resistance is outnumbered…Luke Skywalker has finally been found…and the Rebels fight against a growing evil. The First Order will stop at nothing to conquer the galaxy, and it’s up to our heroes to defend it!
