Stan Lee is already the king of movie cameos, but now he’s hungry for more. The Marvel Comics legend has announced his interest in running the world.

Now fully in command of his Twitter account, the 95-year-old writer and editor asked his 3.15 million followers who would vote for him for the imaginary office of president of the world. In response, the message has received more than 17,000 likes and 108,000 retweets. That may not be enough to get Lee a majority vote, considering the global population of more than 7 billion, but it’s a start.

This tweet comes just 10 days after Lee’s triumphant return to the public eye. After months of speculation and concern regarding Lee’s whereabouts and accusations of elder abuse, the comics icon has been posting videos, interacting with fans, and praising Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. He’s also expressed that his Facebook has been hacked, and has even asked Mark Zuckerberg for help. Above all, though, he’s been welcomed and celebrated by his fans.

Lee is a co-creator of classic superheroes such as Spider-Man, the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther and the X-Men. In more recent decades he’s famed for his cameos in Marvel films and television series.
