To access the settings for your company file, click on File > New Company File....


The first screen asks for the name of your company. Once you have entered the name, click on Next.


The next screen asks for the type of company you are setting up the file for. You can choose between Sole Proprietorship or Partnership. If you are setting up a new company file, select Partnership and click on Next. If you are restoring an existing company file, select Sole Proprietorship and click on Restore Existing Company File....


On the next screen, you will be asked to provide basic information about your business. This includes your business name (or titles), contact information (phone numbers and email addresses), and fiscal year start date/end date. Click on Next...
