I’m literally hung up on the math problem in the beginning: so if I were to take the log of a of both a^x-2,a^y=3, I would have x-2,y=loga(3), assuming that the comma means and which can be substituted with a multiplication sign changing to y(x-2)=loga(3), so the supposed formula/equation would be y(x-2)=loga(3).
