This year's 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu's The Promised Neverland manga has 1.5 million copies in print in Japan. Shirai and Demizu launched the manga in August 2016. Shueisha will publish the manga's fifth compiled volume (pictured at right) on Monday. Viz Media previewed the manga's first three chapters in English as part of its Jump Start initiative, then added the manga to the anthology's full lineup. Shueisha describes the manga: The lady I fondly call mom …is not my mom. The children I live with …are not my siblings. This is Grace Field House, a small orphanage. Although the orphanage wasn't the best, the three protagonists—Emma, Norman, and Ray—lived a peaceful and happy everyday life. However, one day that life came to an end… What is the cruel twist of fate that await these children…?! The manga was nominated for the 10th Manga Taisho awards earlier this year.

Announced at the Young Animal panel during Comic-Con International in San Diego, a crossover between the DC Universe and the publisher’s Young Animal imprint is scheduled for early 2018. The first of the one-shot annuals sees Young Animal’s headline title Doom Patrol cross paths with DC’s Justice League of America from the creative team of Gerard Way, Steve Orlando and ACO. The video reveals and previews YURiKA's opening theme song "Kyōmen no Nami" (The Waves on the Mirror's Surface). The show also revealed four more cast members, including: Hitomi Nabatame as Sphene, whose hardness level is 5 and who is in charge of industrial art design. Houko Kuwashima as Peridot, whose hardness level is 6.5 and who is in charge of manufacturing paper. Sayaka Harada as Watermelon Tourmaline, whose hardness level is 7.5 and who does things at its own pace. Reina Ueda as Hemimorphite, whose hardness level is 5 and who is the Lustrous' young hope. Anime to stream on other outlets outside U.S. Sentai Filmworks announced on Wednesday that it has licensed the television anime of Haruko Ichikawa's Land of the Lustrous (Hōseki no Kuni) manga for the fall 2017 simulcast season. The anime will stream on Anime Strike in the United States and on select digital outlets in other territories. Sentai Filmworks is also planning a home video release. The series will premiere in Japan on 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 7 on the AT-X channel, followed by the Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 channels. The show will also stream on 33 streaming services in Japan. The official website for the television anime of Haruko Ichikawa's Land of the Lustrous (Hōseki no Kuni) manga revealed its DVD and Blu-ray Disc home video releases on Saturday. The site is listing six sets of two episodes each for a total of 12 episodes. The first home video release is slated for release in Japan on December 20. The site is streaming a commercial for the home video release. The series premiered in Japan on Saturday. The anime is streaming on Anime Strike in the United States, and on HIDIVE in the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Central America, and South America. Project seeks to release game on Steam, Xbox Live, Switch Game manufacturer Poisoft opened a Kickstarter campaign for an English-language release of its Order Land! role-playing and simulation game on Thursday. If the project reaches its 5 million yen (about US$44,573) goal by November 11, the game will get an English release in North America and Europe on PC via Steam, XBox Live, and Nintendo Switch. If the project reaches 6 million yen (US$53,656) the game will also get a PS4 version. In the game, players control a king of a fantasy world and support heroes keeping the area safe. Alternatively, players can have their king rule unjustly by setting high taxes or imprisoning the heroes. In addition to the "King Mode" there is also a "Training Mode" where players can train heroes and a "Hero Mode" where players can take on the role of the hero.
