News Anime Strike Adds The Garden of Sinners Film Series
8-film series plus 2 sequels now streaming Amazon's Anime Strike channel announced on Wednesday that it has added all eight The Garden of Sinners anime films along with the feature film sequels The Garden of Sinners/recalled out summer and The Garden of Sinners/recalled out summer: Extra Chorus. They are available in Japanese with English subtitles. The films, animated by ufotable, are based on TYPE-MOON writer Kinoko Nasu's (Lunar Legend Tsukihime, Fate/stay night) 1998 Kara no Kyōkai novel. Only the first chapter of the novel officially appeared in English; Del Rey published it in the first volume of its English version of Faust in 2008. Aniplex describes the film series: After lying in a coma for two years caused by a traffic accident, Shiki Ryougi awakens with amnesia. How to Watch Kara no Kyoukai (Garden of Sinners) in Order
As one of the earliest works of TYPE-MOON’s Kinoko Nasu, a real TYPE-MOON junkie will feel compelled to watch Kara no Kyoukai, also known as Garden of Sinners. Set in an alternate parallel universe to other TYPE-MOON series like Tsukihime and Fate/Stay, in both of those other series, you will find several references to Kara no Kyoukai, making it a must-watch for complete understanding of all things TYPE-MOON. While you will find references to it in other series, Kara no Kyoukai also shares another similarity with its anime brethren – it is kind of a pain to get into if you don’t know the watch order.
