News Order Land! Game Kickstarter Campaign Cancelled
Poisoft plans to resume the project "in a few weeks"

Game manufacturer Poisoft cancelled its Kickstarter campaign on November 2 for an English-language release of its Order Land! role-playing and simulation game.

Poisoft thanked supporters on its official site and said it plans to resume the project "in a few weeks."

If the project had reached its 5 million yen (about US$44,573) goal by November 11, the game would have received an English release in North America and Europe on PC via Steam, XBox Live, and Nintendo Switch. If the project had reached 6 million yen (US$53,656), the game would also have received a PS4 version.

In the game, players control a king of a fantasy world and support heroes keeping the area safe. Alternatively, players can have their king rule unjustly by setting high taxes or imprisoning the heroes. In addition to the "King Mode" there is also a "Training Mode" where players can train heroes and a "Hero Mode" where players can take on the role of the hero.

The project invited Japanese fans to participate in the campaign with backer rewards such as a mug and T-shirt that were exclusive to Kickstarter. Any updates reached by the stretch goals would also have funded an update in the Japanese version.

The game launched digitally in Japan for Nintendo 3DS in December 2013 and for Nintendo Switch on September 28.
