News Alice on Border Road Spinoff Manga Ends in February
Spinoff of Alice in Borderland manga launched in August 2015

The December issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX magazine revealed on Friday that Haro Aso and Takayoshi Kuroda's Imawa no Michi no Alice (Alice on Border Road) manga will end in the magazine's March 2018 issue, which will ship in February. Shogakukan will publish the manga's seventh compiled volume on January 19, and the eighth and final volume on March 19.

The manga follows "another Alice," a female high school student who curses her everyday life. When by chance she loses her way on the "Border Road," she is forced to participate in deadly survival games with other female high school students.

Aso and Kuroda launched the manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX magazine in August 2015.

The manga is a spinoff of Aso's Alice in Borderland (Imawa no Kuni no Alice) manga. Aso launched Alice in Borderland in Weekly Shonen Sunday S (formerly Shōnen Sunday Chō) in 2010, before transferring the series to Weekly Shonen Sunday as it entered its final story arc in March 2015. Aso ended the manga in March 2016. Shogakukan published the manga's 18th and final compiled book volume in April 2016. The manga's 12th, 13th, and 14th volumes shipped with original video anime (OVA) episodes.

The spinoff series Alice in Borderland Chi no Kyokuchi - Daiya no King-hen ran from October 2014 to February 2015 in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Shogakukan published a special chapter in April 2015.
