In the history of Chinese ceramics, Dangyangyu kiln is special. In China, it is also known as Huaiqing kiln, Hanoi kiln, Luwu kiln, etc. In foreign countries, because the kiln is located in Xiuwu County, Henan Province, Japan called "Xiuwu kiln"; As it is only 6 kilometers away from Jiaozuo city in the south, the British called it "Jiaozuo Kiln". At least until the 1930s, dangyangyu kiln was relatively unknown to Chinese and foreign ceramic research circles. It was probably not until Yang Wanli and Ye Zhemin made two investigations in 1952 and 1956 that the kiln god tablet, which was erected in the 4th year of Chongning (1105) in the Northern Song Dynasty, was named "Dangyangyu Kiln". The name of the kiln fluctuates, which explains that yangyu kiln has been buried by history for too long.
