Aksys Games announced on Friday that it will release Bad Apple Wars for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on October 13. The company will release a limited day-one edition with a 48-page art book. The limited edition will be available exclusively through Game Stop. Aksys Games previously announced plans to release Bad Apple Wars on September 29. Idea Factory's Otomate released Bad Apple Wars for PlayStation Vita in November 2015. The game follows a protagonist who winds up at a strange school after an accident at the school entrance ceremony. This school is NEVAEH, an academy for the souls of bad students. Graduating from this school earns the students a second chance at life.

Sept. 1 marks the anniversary of legendary comic book letterer Gaspar Saladino’s birth, and in tribute the day has been christened as “Letterer Appreciation Day.” Lettering is one of the great unsung aspects of comics production, and a hugely important part of storytelling. Even the best-scripted, most carefully drawn page will fall apart without smart lettering — letterers work at the last minute, under huge pressure, and are the glue which hold comics together (or staples, to be more comics-appropriate). Kensho Ono, Kaito Ishikawa, Daisuke Namikawa, Satoru Hino, Yuuki Kaji, more star Otomate, a brand for romance games aimed at female players, announced at Sunday's "10th Anniversary Otomate Party 2017" event that its upcoming Library Cross Infinite game app has a television anime adaptation in the works. Otomate and Wright Flyer Studios are collaborating on the "love-to-infinity puzzle role-playing game" for release on iOS and Android devices this year. In the game, a medical student named Shiina and nine male partners are trapped in a certain dimensional realm with many ancient texts and an enormous mysterious clock. Together, they must find a way to escape by uncovering clues before the clock strikes "13." Standalone version without micro-transactions will launch after service ends Square Enix announced last week that it is ending service for its Final Fantasy Legends II smartphone game on October 31. Sales of in-game "space-time stone" items were disabled on August 31. Square Enix plans to release a standalone version of the game with micro-transactions removed sometime after November. Square Enix stated that after the second part of the main story finished, it found it difficult to continue to maintain and deliver a product that would be to everyone's satisfaction, and arrived at the decision to end service due to that. The game originally launched under the title Final Fantasy Legends: Jikū no Suishō (Final Fantasy Legends: Crystal of Space-Time) in February 2015 as a sequel to the Final Fantasy Legends: Hikari to Yami no Senshi (Final Fantasy Dimensions) game. If you search any cartoon hard enough, you’re bound to find some adult jokes hidden subtly within an episode or two. One could argue that the adults working on the shows want to give the parents in the room something to laugh about too, while going over the little kids’ heads. The ’90s was an extreme time for comic books. Everything was extreme — characters had extreme guns, extreme hair and extreme clothes. The physical comics themselves were extreme in their gimmicks (remember the Amazing Spider-Man #375 with the “hologram” foil cover?!), with several cover variants for the same issues, some coated in plastic so that liquid would ooze around inside (Bloodstrike #1, now with fake blood!), and some made out of “indestructible material”. Trailer also unveiled for latest by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi The official website for Terra Battle 2, the newest installment in the "Terra World" franchise by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker game studio, announced on Tuesday that the game will launch in Japan and North America on September 21 on iOS and Android devices. The PC version's release date has not yet been revealed. The site is also streaming a new trailer. In addition, the original Terra Battle game will add the Class Z character "Haruhikari" from Terra Battle 2 beginning on September 20. Sakaguchi introduced Terra Battle 2 alongside the Terra Wars game, both for iOS, Android, and PC.
