Breath of Bones: A Tale of the Golem #1
“Breath of Bones: A Tale of the Golem” #1 has a nice story courtesy Steve Niles and Matt Santoro, set in the early days of World War II as the German army begins to draw nearer to a small village in France where our protagonist Noah lives. It’s the art by David Wachter, though, that is going to grab attention instantly and make readers desperate for more. Niles and Santoro’s story is good, if a little slowly paced. Readers are introduced to Noah, who’s just young enough to not leave when the rest of the village’s men head off to war, and get an idea of what this mild-mannered, thoughtful boy is like. Niles’ script isn’t splashy but it doesn’t need to be; both Noah and his grandfather are soft-spoken but also determined individuals. Those hoping for lots of golem action (as the cover promises) will be a little disappointed, though, with the creature of Jewish legend having not yet made a proper appearance. It’s evenly paced, though, and it’s a pleasant read. Wachter’s art, though, is

Firebreather: Holmgang #1
Sporting a cover that is more of advertisement for the Cartoon Network original movie than it is an image relevant to the internal story, Phil Hester’s and Andy Kuhn’s “Firebreather” embarks on its third story. As with the previous stories, this issue brings teen angst, high school drama, and giant monster adventure. Burdened with a secret that he can’t even share with his mom, Duncan returns to his “normal” life. The problem is, his normal life is tumbling like a house of cards and Duncan is flailing, trying to figure out what’s happening, why, and how best to cope with it. We’ve all been there, either as high schoolers, college students, or adults. Duncan is a properly relatable character even though his dad’s a Godzilla-level threat. Beyond the secret, there are slivers (and some larger than sliver notions, such as Belloc’s whereabouts) in this issue that reference the previous adventures of Duncan Rosenblatt, but this issue is mostly a well-timed, carefully mapped out jumping on

Marvel Is Breathing New Life, & A New Purpose Into the Phoenix
Over the past few years, Marvel has introduced an increasing number of new and young heroes to bear the superhero mantles held by long-established characters. X-23 became the new Wolverine after Logan’s death; Kamala Khan became the new Ms. Marvel; Jane Foster became the new female version of Thor after the Odinson found himself unworthy; and Amadeus Cho became the new (and Totally Awesome) Hulk. But now, to satiate fan demand, Marvel is looking to bring the focus back on its old characters, but without having to sacrifice the growing popularity of its newer, younger generation of superheroes. RELATED: Marvel Releases First Story Details for Generations One-Shots To bridge this gap between the old, the new, and the return of the old, Marvel is currently in the midst of releasing a series of one-shots fittingly titled Generations. Each of the ten issues teams one of these young heroes up with their original counterpart, with the twist that these meetings take place thanks to som

Anybody knows who the beautiful girl is? 😍
And it might have been the first scene when we started watch this cartoon. 👀
And actually, I fell in love this cartoon and started to watch it just because this picture.
The scene couldn't be more beautiful.
It took my breath away at that time. 😊
