Macross Delta voice actress' character available in game event until September 10 The official Twitter account for the The [email protected] Cinderella Girls franchise revealed on Thursday that voice actress Minori Suzuki (Macross Delta's Freyja Wion, Record of Grancrest War's Ema) is voicing the character Hajime Fujiwara in the franchise. The character is one of seven that will be available as part of the game's "Aki no Yonaga to Meigetsu Usagi" event that is running from Thursday to September 10. Cygames and Bandai Namco Entertainment released the smartphone game in 2011, and it has since inspired a television anime series adaptation in 2015, as well as multiple other games and manga spinoffs. Company acquires studio to cultivate Girls & Panzer property; studio currently produces Princess Principal Bandai Visual announced on Monday that it has acquired the Actas animation studio. Bandai Visual made a complete acquisition of Actas' stock last Friday, September 1, and Actas is now a subsidiary of Bandai Visual. Actas board members named Bandai Visual producer Jun Yukawa as acting director of Actas in a board meeting last Friday. Bandai Visual stated in the announcement that the acquisition was for the purpose of cultivating the Girls & Panzer intellectual property, and for the creation of other intellectual property. Actas is perhaps best known for its animation and production work on the Girls & Panzer television anime, OVAs, and film. The franchise is also getting the Girls & Panzer Saishūshō (Girls & Panzer: The Final Chapter) anime project, which will be a six-part theatrical event anime. My buddy Mordechai suggested to me that it might be interesting to spotlight 1998’s Supergirl #23 (by Peter David, Leonard Kirk and Robin Riggs), as the topic of that issue seems particularly topical nowadays. I think that’s a good idea, so let’s take a look. To set things up, the concept of the Supergirl series that launched in 1996 (by Peter David and original artist, Gary Frank, who had worked with David on Incredible Hulk previously) was that a young woman named Linda Danvers in Leesburg, Virginia, was caught up in a demonic cult. She was turned into a sacrifice. The shapeshifting alien Supergirl (also known as Matrix) tried to save Linda’s life but was also badly injured. Newest game in Bullet Girls series takes place in fantasy world D3 Publisher and Shade opened a website for Bullet Girls Phantasia, the newest installment in the Bullet Girls game franchise. The game is slated for release in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in spring 2018. The site teases that the new game will take place in a fantasy world, but will retain the military action of the previous games. The Bullet Girls game allows players to play as one of a number of high school girl characters in a school's Ranger Club. The characters wield a variety of firearms and military vehicles while going on a number of missions. The game allows players to see the damage in the clothing of both their characters and the characters they fight in combat. D3 Publisher released the first game on the PS Vita in August 2014, and released the Bullet Girls 2 sequel on PS Vita in April 2016. [Via Otakomu]

The cast includes: Inori Minase as the composed and intellectual Chito Yurika Kubo as the optimistic Yuuri who loves to eat The anime will premiere on the AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 channels on October 6. Kentarō Satō's Magical Girl Apocalypse manga spinoff launched in 2013 The seventh compiled book volume of Kentarō Satō's Magical Girl Site (Mahō Shōjo Site) manga is revealing on Friday that a television anime adaptation of the manga has been green-lit for next year. The manga is also transferring from Akita Shoten's Champion Tap! manga website to the publisher's Weekly Shōnen Champion print magazine. Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Shōnen Champion magazine teased in August that Satō's original Magical Girl Apocalypse manga would have an important announcement on Friday. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga and it describes the story: Asagiri Aya is a young girl who has fallen victim to bullies at her school. Looking for a way to escape her troubles, she looks to the Internet for distraction, when a mysterious website called “Magical Girl Site” appears. Simply viewing the page is all it takes to hurtle Aya headlong into the deadly world of the Magical Girl Apocalypse.

Anime premieres October 9 The official website for the Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shō (Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter) television anime series revealed a new promotional video, additional broadcast and streaming information, and additional character designs on Friday. The video previews the opening theme song "7 senses" by the Wake Up, Girls! idol group.
