After the murder of her father, Ryuuko Matoi scours the land searching for his killer. Her only lead is the missing half of his invention – the Scissor Blade. On her search, she is lead to the prestigious Honnouji Academy that is ruled by the iron-fisted student council president Satsuki Kiryuuin and her Elite Four. These students rule with their “uniforms” that bestow upon them supernatural powers. Ryuuko Matoi is convinced that they know something about her father’s death, but to face them, she needs a uniform of her own. Kamikaze Douga's Junpei Mizusaki directs, Afro Samurai's Takashi Okazaki draws character designs The New York Comic Con event announced on Thursday that it will host Kamikaze Douga CEO and founder Junpei Mizusaki, character designer Takashi Okazaki, and writer Kazuki Nakashima as part of a panel to announce a new 2018 anime film project titled Batman Ninja by Warner Bros. Japan and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Mizusaki, the producer of the opening animation sequences for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, is the film's director. Nakashima, who was in charge of series composition for Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill, is the screenwriter. Okazaki, the creator of the Afro Samurai manga, is the character designer for the film. The project will also involve English-language screenwriters Leo Chu and Eric Garcia — the executive producers for the Afro Samurai series and Afro Samurai: Resurrection film — who will also join the panel, along
