Manga is sequel to manga about battling Chinese gourmet chefs Manga creator Etsushi Ogawa announced on Saturday that he will launch a sequel manga series to his Chūka Ichiban! (Cooking Master Boy) manga series titled Chūka Ichiban! Kiwami on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app in November. New chapters of the manga will appear every two weeks. The original manga is set during a fictitious 19th century China, where chefs from all over China competed in culinary tests of ability, and being a master chef granted one respect and authority. The story centers on Liu Mao Xing, a young chef from Szechuan province who learns cooking from his mother. After saving his mother's restaurant, Mao goes on a journey to become a Super Chef, battling other chefs with other cooking styles along the way, and contending with the conspiracies of the Dark Cooking Society. Remaster of 4th game in franchise launches in Japan on November 28 Square Enix announced with a video on Wednesday that it is producing a 4K and full HD remaster of it and tri-Ace's Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope game. The game will launch in Japan digitally for the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on November 28 for 2,800 yen (about US$25). The game will also be compatible with the PS4 Pro. Shining Resonance Refrain adds enhanced graphics, new story mode This week's issue of Kadokawa's Famitsu magazine is revealing on Thursday that the Shining Resonance game for PlayStation 3 is getting a remaster for PlayStation 4 titled Shining Resonance Refrain. The game will ship with regular and limited-edition Premium Fan Box releases on March 29. The game will have enhanced graphics and other new elements. A Refrain Mode will also feature a "what if" story for Excela Noa Aura and Jenius Aeon, characters that could not become party members in the original game. Tony Taka designed new "Black Lotus Swimsuit" and "Red Lotus Swimsuit" costumes for the game. Saori Hayami (voice of Kirika Towa Alma) and Asami Seto (voice of Sonia Blanche) will perform the new theme song “Eien Iro no Aria.” The regular edition of the game will cost 5,990 yen (about US$53).
