The official website for the Love Live! franchise announced on Friday that the second season of the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime will premiere on October 7 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto. It will air later the same evening on BS11 and TV Aichi, and the evening of October 10 on TV Hokkaido, SBS, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. A television special will precede the debut of the first episode on September 30 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11. The special will also be livestreamed. The first Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered in July 2016. Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan. The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." The group's name Aqours was chosen by fans by popular vote. The official website for the Mr. Osomatsu television anime unveiled the second season's main visual and broadcast details on Wednesday. The season will premiere at 25:35 on October 2 (effectively 1:35 a.m. on October 3) on TV Tokyo and TV Aichi, and it will also run on the TV Osaka, AT-X, and BS Japan channels. The Mr. Osomatsu television anime is inspired by Fujio Akatsuka's original Osomatsu-kun manga and "high tension comedy" TV anime, which centered on the Matsuno household with six naughty and mischievous sons (who are sextuplets). All of the sextuplets, including the eldest Osomatsu, are all in love with the same girl, Totoko. The original Osomatsu-kun series followed the family when the sons were 10 years old. The video previews the theme song "Dai! Jigoku Jigobushi" by Jigoku no Sata All Stars (Hell's Affairs All Stars), a group of the series' cast members. The video has karaoke (in Japanese) for the song, which is about hell, and going to hell when you die. The website also revealed that the series will premiere at night on October 7 at 1:00 a.m. (effectively October 8) on Tokyo MX1, Sun TV, and BS11. It will air later the same night on KBS Kyoto and on October 9 on AT-X. It will also stream on Abema TV and other platforms.
