Next month marks a major milestone for not just DC Comics but for the entire comic book industry, as Action Comics reaches its monumental 1,000th issue. However, the celebration doesn’t stop there, as longtime Marvel writer Brian Michael Bendis begins his highly anticipated run on the series with Issue #1001 — an issue he just completed the script for. On Twitter, Bendis revealed that he “just handed in the script to Action Comics 1001,” commemorating the momentous achievement with a classic Super Friends GIF.
