Synopsis
An ordinary middle school student, Fujita Tatara couldn\'t find any objective in life and spent his days idly. One day, a group of delinquents picks a fight with him and he is saved by a mysterious man. After that, the man surprisingly takes him to a ballroom dancing class. While being inspired by a girl dancer who goes to that school, Hanaoka Shizuku, and her partner, a genius dancer, Hyoudou Kiyoharu, Tatara starts dedicating his youth to dancesport. News Unison Square Garden, Mikako Komatsu Perform Welcome to the Ballroom Anime's New Theme Songs
"Invisible Sensation," "Swing heart direction" debut in anime next Saturday The official websites for the musical artists Unison Square Garden and Mikako Komatsu announced on Saturday that they are returning to the Welcome to the Ballroom anime to perform its new theme songs. Unison Square Garden (pictured right) performs the new opening "Invisible Sensation," while Komatsu (pictured below) sings the new ending "Swing heart direction." The songs will debut in the anime's second half on September 23. "Invisible Sensation" will ship on CD on Novmeber 8, and the download version will debut on November 15. "Swing heart direction" and two other songs will debut on CD and via download on the same day, November 8. Unison Square Garden and Komatsu already perform the anime's first opening and endin theme songs, "10% roll, 10% romance" and "Maybe the next waltz," respectively. Author is preparing for new chapters The November issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine debuted on Wednesday with fewer pages in Tomo Takeuchi's latest Welcome to the Ballroom manga chapter due to the author's health. Nevertheless, the magazine notes that the author is preparing for future chapters. Kodansha Comics is publishing Tomo Takeuchi's original manga series in North America, and it describes the story of the series: Feckless high school student Tatara Fujita wants to be good at something - anything. Unfortunately, he's about as average as a slouchy teen can be. Metropolitan Tournament will end in anime before manga The official Twitter account for the Welcome to the Ballroom manga posted a note from creator Tomo Takeuchi about the anime adaptation on Monday. The note reveals that the plot of the anime's story will pass the manga before the end of the Metropolitan Tournament.
