The Free! -Take Your Marks- anime film premiered at the "3rd KyoAni & Do Thanks Event" on October 21 and ended with the message "See You Next Stage." When asked about the note during the stage greeting, character designer Futoshi Nishiya only repeated the line in English. The film will open in Japan on Saturday. It is a sequel to the Free! -Timeless Medley- compilation films and it depicts four stories set in early spring. The original 2013 Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club anime ended with a similar message, "see you next summer." The second season Free! Eternal Summer was announced in 2014.

One Transformers fan got a nasty surprise earlier this week after some Cybertronian text on the side of a Power of the Primes Jazz action figure was translated. The message embedded on the Autobot’s door for all to see? Four letters: “MAGA.” Yes, that’s the shorthand for “Make America Great Again,” the 2016 campaign slogan of current United States President Donald Trump. According to io9, the mystery began when Twitter user @chrisrtxv posted a tweet complaining about the tiny text printed on the Autobot’s side. It turns out the Justice League of China’s “final mission” will also be its last. Artist Bernard Chang confirmed on Twitter that New-Superman and the Justice League of China #24 will be the final issue in the series. Chang had been providing variant covers on the title since the first issue. Chang spoke about how “honored and proud” he was to be a part of this amazing two-year run. It was believed the title was close to being cancelled for awhile, and the solicitations for issue #24 mentioned that the team will “prepare for their final mission.” This simply confirms what we already knew. In the wake of a whirlwind confounding, and concerning, reports involving legal battles, hijacked social-media accounts and accusations of elder abuse, Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee has returned to Twitter with a video message intended to reassure fans. Beloved for his role in the creation of such iconic superheroes as Spider-Man, the Avengers and the X-Men, Lee has become ubiquitous in Marvel Studios films. Outside of what we’ve seen it do to Mick Rory/Heat Wave, the Sage Force remains shrouded in mystery. However, in the pages of The Flash #62, we’ll see a brand-new wielder of the enigmatic Sage Force.
